Salary
To reward performance, knowledge, skills, experience and education, Gibson’s base pay and variable pay programs are benchmarked annually to ensure competitiveness with the Oil & Gas industry.
Base Pay: Gibson offers competitive salaries based on external and internal equity.
Bonus: Paid annually, all employees share in the Company’s success through a short term incentive program. Annual awards are based on financial success of the Company and the individual’s performance.

Pension
For your retirement, Gibson provides a Defined Contribution (DC) Pension Plan, which allows for a 100% match to employee contributions (starting at 6%, increasing 1% per 5 years of employment, to a maximum of 9%).
There are in excess of 30 funds to invest in, and free resources including access to a Certified Financial Planner and Financial Planning education sessions.
Paid Time Off
In recognition of Work-Life Balance, we offer the following paid time away from work:
VACATION – Earned from the 1st day of employment; based on service:
- 0 – 8 years = 15 days/year (1.25 days/month)
- 9 – 17 years = 20 days/year (1.67 days/month)
- 18+ years = 25 days/year (2.08 days/month)
FLEX DAYS – 12 per year (one per month)
- Days are awarded, not earned
- Available to permanent employees; not available in all locations due to operational requirements
- Days are non-accruable
